panhead oil passages
i have a 1949 panhead the is all frankenstin i bout it from a guy that new nothing about it. the right case is 49 pan generator and the cylinders and heads are pan also the left case is a shovel altenator case and the crank is a 80'' evo crank so the motor is stroke 3/8 in.
My question is how is the oil routed through the motor? The tappet oil screen plug has a fitting in it with a hose to the oil passage on the rear cylinder and that isnt right to me it should just be a normal plug on the case with the spring and filter and seal in the housing but i dont know if this is hurting the motor or not please help. Thanks in advance.
