Changing Oils Over
Been running Syn3 in the engine, Royal Purple Max Gear 75w/90 in the tranny, and Royal Purple 20w50 in the primary. Figure it's time to try something new and will be changing to Mobil 1 V-Twin 20w50, Mobil 1 Synthetic Gear Lube LS 75W-140 (hot here in summer), and plain old Formula+ in the primary.
After reading many threads, still have a question.... The gear lube for the tranny is not specifically marked for motorcycles and it is a synthetic (some people say do not use a synthetic in the tranny).... Will this cause any issues?

Don't take advice from anyone who tells you not to run synthetic oil in the tranny- they don't have a clue what they're talking about. While it may not be necessary, it certainly won't hurt a thing.

Thanks!
Changed to Royal Purple at the beginning of the season, and my primary just went out (pretty sure it's the famous inner primary issue on the "06" Dynas), but not going to take any chances so gonna make a change.
