Tried Mobil 1 75W90 - shifts easier, finds neutral much easier now, so much easier it slips into neutral instead of 2nd. Gonna try Amsoil severe gear 75W90 synthetic.

 

I'm happy using the HD Formula Plus in my transmission.

 

 

I’ve used it and it works very well.I use mostly Lucas products.

 

Why do a lot of people recommend the heavy ShockProof when the superlight (75W90) is still heavier than the Formula+ (50wt from what I read)?

 

Hey Guys I live down here in SE corner of Alabama, I'm about to change transmission oil, what's the suggestion on transmission oil, seeing it get's hell out down here?

 

 

I think Mobil 1 75w-140 would be a good choice for where you're at. It's also available at most automotive places and sometimes Walmart.

 

what brand and what type of trans fluid is recommended for a 2006 flhxi 5speed ?
