Mobile One VTwin, RedLine VTwin Transmission oil, and ? for primary?
Recently I decided to go with Mobile One Synthetic 20W-50
VTwin oil and although I haven't used it yet I have a qt of RedLine VTwin Transmission oil waiting, and I will change that soon... And now I'm wondering what primary lubricant I should use? I have some HD Formula + Transmission and Primary Chaincase oil on hand. I'm thinking there's probably a better fluid for my chaincase and I would appreciated everyone's input... Thanks. |
Redline MTL...has worked very well for me.

http://klotzlube.com/prodimages/KH-C80.jpg Where do you get this stuff? Online? Quality products. A few years back, a friend of mine tried to give a go at runnin' a bike shop and after a couple years, couldn't make it and pulled the plug. I bought everything that I thought that I would eventually use and a case of primary fluid along with a a case of oil. You can buy it online though, and I think that they have a zipcode finder too somewhere on their site. Been happy with it though. Regards. |

I could not find neutral using Mobile1, unless I got neutral in process of stopping - otherwise impossible. Harley service tech told me to try RedLine VTwin Synthetic - I went for a long ride today, use it if you want to find neutral while stopped.
