I purposely did not post this in the prayers forum.
When I started riding, I was riding with a bunch of retired LEOs from New York & New Jersey. We all bonded incredibly well.
We rode mostly locally on a weekly basis and a few times a year all over southeast USA for about 8, 9, 10 days at a time.
Sadly, one of the original members of the group I heard is in the hospital with stage IV liver cancer. He will be getting a PET hopefully today or maybe tomorrow (Saturday).
Wishing him the best of course and a miracle mending.
Interesting.......it pulls at ones heart deeply. Ironic. That is a good thing. The alternative is not to know him, not to know abt his illness, and along with that, not have bonded with friendship, memories and the good times.
Mend, mend, mend.
