Thanks for all the well-wishes and helpful suggestions. Here's some pics of the new ride, a 2016 Road King. I've been modding it non-stop for the last

week or so.

A bit of an update...

Still on the mend. Having a bit of a hard time getting new skin to grow over my left knee cap, keep ripping it off. Torn left buttock muscle makes it a biatch to take long rides. I've been told that it'll take many, many months to fully heal. I'm running an Air Hawk bladder on the seat which helps a little bit. All, in all, I'm fully mobile and loving the ride on my new to me 16 Road King. The braking is light years better than the Softails I've owned.

I would much rather be reaing about your accounts with you posting them than someone posting your Obit.
Heal quickly and get back on the horse.
May the cause of the accident never be repeated.

Yes I did (16 RK) and have put 5k miles on it already. The torn muscle in the left side of my **** is still healing though and still gets a bit painful on long rides.
