Motorcycle Ride for Dad in Ottawa, Canada (National Capital)
For those of you folks near the 49th parallel. Saturday, June 2nd is our 12th annual Ottawa, Ontario Motorcycle Ride for Dad, this ride raises money to help fight Prostate Cancer through awareness and medical research.

Last year 2350 participants raised over $415,000 for the cause. We have a police escorted motorcycle parade thru downtown Ottawa, past our Parliament Hill and along the Ottawa River Parkway. We then continue on unescorted into the Ottawa Valley for a poker run.

This year Freedom Harley Davidson of Ottawa will be giving away a HD 2012 Iron 883 to one lucky participant. This bike, all in, is valued at just over $11,000. The lucky winner will have his poker ticket drawn from all poker participants, winner must be present at closing ceremonies to win the bike, and must have raised $100 in pledges or donations. There are numerous other prizes also.
