Reno, NV => Seattle, WA then east
I've got an opportunity to spend a bit of time on the bike in July\August. Anyone have recommendations on roads\stops that would take me across your wonderful states?
Start\End: Lexington, KY

Sorry for the late reply...
I 2nd HWY20
A couple more:
1st: HWY12 (aka Lolo pass) start around Kooskie ID and end at Lolo MT.
2nd: 200 (MT200) from Sandpoint ID to HWY93 (outside Missoula/Frenchtown MT).
Another section of road: Going to the Sun RD. (By Glacier).
There is always HWY95 from Grangeville ID to New Meadows, then ID55 (McCall) comes out northwest of Boise ID.

Traveling from Las Vegas north to Reno you may want to stop for the night in Tonopay and get a reservation at the Mizpah Hotel. Historic, renovated several years ago. Good food. Then on your way to Reno stop in Viriginia City. I recommend the Peppermill Hotel and Casino in Reno. Good food, nice place.
