Default NW tool loan thread

Hey guys I just got an idea and not sure if it has been done before.
Suntzuzuzki gave me the idea on the Sound off page.

Mabey if guys are willing to loan out specialty tools they could list what they have and what they are willing to loan out LOCAL. That will give guys a chance to meet up and help each other out. I live in Lake Stevens
I will start

Cam bearing removal and install tool
Primary main shaft removal and install tool
Piston ring compressor

MXJunky borrowed a bearing removal tool from a local autoparts store when he rebuilt the transmission on his YZ250. Basically you pay for the tool and they refund you the skrilla when you bring it back. This was at maybe NAPA or O'reilly's or something (it was a few years ago).

I'm in Orange County, CA and I have a wheel bearing tool that I would loan out or allow folks to bring their wheels here and use.

Hi Kevin! I am in South Snohomish County (Edmonds/Lynnwood area) and am in desperate need of borrowing someones inner cam bearing puller and installer tool! Would your tool work for a 2006 touring? I was noticing differences in some tools as there seems to be a slight difference between years 2006 & 2007. Thanks in advance!

Default S Oregon

I accumulated a few tools during my winter build I can lend out. They will be collecting dust until I score another twin cam project.
  1. Fueling TC/EVO runout measuring tool Part # 9015
  2. Fuel Moto Twin Cam Tool Kit description says Twin Cam & M-8
  3. Motion Pro 41MM seal driver
  4. Motion Pro 1-3/8” fork cap socket

If I run across anything else specific that may be useful for those of us who like to tinker at home, I’ll be sure to add to this thread.

Edited to add fork cap socket

You are spot on with this, as i was just thinking how many folks have bought the tooling and have it sitting around till next cam project. I'd happily pay a rental fee.
My "next fall" project is cam swap w/bearing replacement, and compensator ramp swap as well. This would require 2 out of 3 of your tools.
I'm in Renton WA and will be reaching out to folks next fall.

Does anyone have one of these? For checking deck height of your piston to cylinder
