Just returned from a 960 mile blast to Monterey Bay.

Did 101 to 1 all the way up. It took 4 hrs 45 mins to get from Morro Bay to Monterey, via da 1.

Worth it.

Also stopped at Hearst's Castle for 2 tours.

 

What was the hurry?

 

Boy those pics of Hurst Castle brought memories. Morro Bay was where I lived before moving to Tennessee in 2009. Well 2010 was when I officially became a resident of Tennessee. I was a long haul truck driver and would stop in to see my folks who moved here before I did. Miss my coast, and friends sometimes. I traded living on Morro Harbor for Tennessee. Woke up every morning looking at Morro Rock.

Heard from friends out there that California finally got some rain and snow.
