Bay Area New Harley Owner Looking for Riding Groups
Hi there!
New to the forum and Harleys (but not riding)...just got a 2001 Sportster 883 with SE pipes. I'd love to find people locally to ride with and/or join a group, but I have no idea how to go about that. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Best,
Ryan

Where you work or the type of work you do is where you find riding groups. Look for similar interests and backgrounds.
Redwood Rd. between Oakland and Castro Valley is a good place to ride and find other riders. Alice's Restaurant over on the peninsula is another place to hang out. Pinehurst Rd and Canyon Rd from Oakland to Moraga is another technical riding road.
Keep in mind group riding can be dangerous. Is it a reflection or is that front tire a bit thin?

Thanks everyone!
Thanks, Don! Always happy to meet a fellow Merchant Mariner (I used to be a Union Deckhand). Maybe a ride next week?
