I am new to the area and looking for some good roads to ride.
Does anyone know of some good twisty roads near Sacramento?

*Caveat*
Due to some work-related injuries, I can't ride for too long. So I am looking for roads that are relatively close to Sac, so the round trip isn't more than a couple hours (I know, I know, it sucks, but it is what it is)

If anyone in the area knows of any good roads or even wants to go ride and grab some food, just let me know.

 

Ride west to Winters then go up by Lake Berriessa and on to Napa. Good twisters back there just look out for deer. Almost hit one there once.

 

Up I-5 North to HWY 20 West head out towards Clear Lake, Moderate twists through there, yet not overwhelming. decent ride.

 

George Town great area close to sac.

 

Green valley road up to salmon falls road then hwy 49 back to Auburn.

Mormon Emmigant Trail, SkyPark Road, Hwy 50 to South Lake Tahoe...anywhere in the Gold Country

 

And Turkeys, real turkeys, not the texting turkeys. Too many good options. Stay longer and ride them all, but East, North or South offer the best two lanes.
