I agree. A little tip. I went into the restaurant area right in front if the Main entrance to the vendor area ordered some food and struck up a conversation joking around with the owner of the little Mexican restaurant and he pulled out a huge stack complementary tickets for entry into the events area I guess they were handed out to businesses to keep them happy for the inconvenience. Look around there are a lot of free tickets floating around. The vendor area and bike show was pretty weak for $25 you could get a picture with Rick from the Pawn Stars, BFD

I've done both. They have their pros and cons. Last year's attendance was pretty light as it was right after the shooting at the Mandalay Bay. the riding out there wasn't good. We did do the valley of fire ride though, and that was badass. As far as Laughlin, I like going to Oatman and can usually get more friends out for that event. They're all overpriced, but there is better riding in Laughlin.
