Thinking about going to TROG in March. Wondering if anyone can recommend a decent campground in the Santa Barbara area.

 

Are you looking for a RV park or a place to tent camp? As far as a RV park with hook ups I believe the only place in town is called Sunrise RV park. For tent or an RV, Carpinteria State park is nice and right on the ocean with plenty of places to eat and a nice micro-brewery within walking distance, but a little cramped and no hook-ups. There are also El Capitan and Refugio state parks about 15 minutes north of SB. Again no hook ups but both are pretty nice and also right on the ocean and other than some road noise from 101 and an occasional train, fairly quiet.
