If it were me I would go down to Quaid HD and rent their Buell for the test. I used it over in Hemet DMV for my test. That thing is like riding a moped, passed no problem.

 

I did mine in Chula Vista 9 years ago on my fatboy, failed the writen twice and passed the driven test the first time, just dont put your feet down on the pavement. My wife took one of those Motorcycle classes which waved the DMV drivers but cost her over 300.00 but she enjoyed all that technical crap they offered.
