So I finally figured out that I can go Friday, Sat or Sun. I'm thinking Friday and Saturday. Not too many rooms left. Anyone know places in Virginia City to stay?
Lots in Tahoe, so maybe that's the way to go.

Ok, so less and less places to stay [&:]

Seems there are rooms in Carson city and Tahoe.

Any suggestions from Locals on where to stay? Just Friday night for me. I'll head home Saturday night.

Thanks!

I am coming from Auburn and will be going to VC though Tahoe and Carson. Staying in South Shore friday going to VC early Saturday. I have been told that if your not ther early you cant find a place to park. I am also shooting to park in front of the Bucket of Blood.

I don't see anything on the official schedule for VC. Is there stuff going on from there thats just unofficial?
I've never been to this event before, so trying to figure it all out without running all over the place.

Yeah, VC is just a nice ride up with lots of beer and bikes when you get there, nothing official. I'll help with hotel advice, just tell me if you want to stay in Reno, Tahoe, Carson City, or what.

I ended up getting a rom in Carson city at the motel 6. It was one of the last rooms in Carson City. Tahoe seemed a bit far and no rooms in Reno for less than $500.

If you have any suggestions for Reno, I'd love to still try. If I'm staying in CC, then I wont be drinking since I have a 30mile ride and that sucks [:@]

I checked around and you aren't going to do better than the Carson room at this point. Be sure to bring cold weather gear, the temps are falling...

Thanks for looking!

Since Sands is claiming secured 24 hour a day parking, I might just park there on Friday, drink myself stupid and take a cab to carson. If not, then I guess I'll have to be forced to remember everything
