Default Motor blown on PA

Hey guy’s just wanted to give you guys a update on my PA. So I picked up the bike on 6/3 and was able to get it home before the rain. So the next day I put abut 70 miles on it and with the rain and vacation that’s about it but the bike ran fine. I did put it on a trailer and bring it upstate with me. After a couple of days I was able to get her out on some nice roads when all of a sudden BAM check engine light came on and oil light and motor was knocking really bad so I pulled to the side and shut her down and had my buddy go get the trailer. After a week or so I was able to get to the dealer and just got the call today that the motor is blown and Harley is send out a new motor ASAP.🤬🤬🤬🤬so my luck the my PA is off to a rocky start I hope it holds up after the new motor. 😡😡😡

As a new PA owner I'm very sorry to hear this is even a possibility. Please keep us updated.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully we get updated on the actual failure.

the bike only had 200 miles on it and from what they are telling me sounds like a oil pump failure.

New model. Blip on engineering something or other. The good thing about it is Harley is making it right.
Hell the last BMW I bought had a "do not ride; Do not sell", shock recall. Took 10 weeks to get the new shock from Germany. Cause was bad ring. The shock was made by someone other than BMW

Heard a similar story in Mississippi. Bike had just had first oil change and engine blew. He was somewhere off on a trip. Completely hearsay, I have no personal knowledge...

I think in N. Alabama also. I have no personal knowledge of this either, but scuttlebutt gets around.

We all know these types of things can happen but it's painful when you are unable to ride for just a few days let alone longer.
