Bought a 73 FLH Shovel to replace her, wasn't the same. After we move I'll find another to bring back....that seems to be my "thing".

You're killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!! The right 3.5 gallon tanks are going to cost you, but that bike with a tank shift would be pretty f-in cool in my humble opinion. I would be on the Bay right now looking for tanks.

You are killing me!!!!!!!!!

Hence the lack of a neutral light indicator on the dash cover.

Exactly!

Ill be speaking with a previous owner monday that bought the bike in 1980 and owned it for 36 years. Im hoping he has more info. The earliest known owner passed away but he bought the bike from a police auction. Being an FL hand shift with the heavy duty generator regulator placement on the left and the damper on the trees along with the auction purchase makes me believe it was a police bike. Ill keep digging though. HD couldn't tell me that it was or the color but telling me it was a hand shift FL was more than enough to make me beyond thrilled.
