Progressive 412 Series Shocks for Harley Davidson Motorcycles
Ask anyone that’s upgraded their shocks and the old adage, “you don’t know what good suspension is until you’ve tried it” may be the reply you get. Even an economical set of Progressive 412 Series Shocks provide a significant improvement to your bike’s ride for a very reasonable sum.
Internally, 412 Series shocks use upgraded valving to keep the rear wheel in contact with the road in a smooth, controlled fashion. The result is that the rear end of your bike will ride smoother, respond to uneven road surfaces with more of a sure footing, and getting through turns will take less effort. The improvements will be noticeable, even to a novice rider. After installation, you’ll wonder why you didn’t upgrade sooner!
Progressive 412 shocks can be had in a range of lengths and spring rates for most motorcycles. Generally, Progressive recommends standard-rate springs for solo riders that weight less than 220 lbs. If you’re above that mark, ride two up or with a full loadout of luggage at least 50% of the time - heavy-duty shocks are the prevailing recommendation. So be sure to choose correctly, or just reach out to our expert staff for helpful suspension guidance.
These shocks can be had in either chrome or black, for most motorcycles and come with all required installation hardware and mounting instructions. You can read more about these shocks on our website here.
