Stretching a Crossbones front fender

I’m new to the forum, and guessing this would be the best place to post this. Didn’t see a bodywork/fender section. I’m in the process of repainting my 2010 Crossbones and am contemplating stretching the front fender. I already have a larger rear fender and want to balance the bike a little bit.

I haven’t found an aftermarket front fender that matches the radius properly. So I’m considering getting another stock Xbones front and sectioning two 3”-5” pieces to lengthen it. Has this been done before? Thoughts? Seems doable with a little bit of finishing to get it right.

Or looking for other options as well, but want to retain the stock front fender mount.

Thx

Should be an easy task for any decent bodyshop. I did the same with a Street Bob rear fender crossing it with a Fat Bob rear fender.
