Default Powder coating M8 SGS hand levers

I'm wanting to powder coat my brake and clutch levers. I have them removed but the clutch lever has a plastic cup in the end that I can't get out. Anyone have any idea how it is removed?

Well I broke down and purchased new black levers. They won't match my powdered parts but I couldn't figure out another solution.

I found this trying to figure out the same thing! Looks like I'll buy some new levers also.
