i have a few questions and have been looking everywhere for the answers to no avail. The first is paint color, is there a real name and code for the sliver paint. The second is for the engine. It’s a “blonde” engine and I would like to restore it back to the stock color and finish but don’t know if there is a color or just hi temp clear coat over the engine. There was a chart for commonly used air dried paint in the touring forums but the didn’t include anything for 1990 models.

Thanks mmesa005, any info on restoring the engine to its original color. I know it’s aluminum but don’t know if the just high temp clear coated it or painted it first like they did with the silver bead blast paint a few years later. I know they used hi temp silver on earlier bikes
