I have a chrome exhaust system and I was wondering if anyone on here has ever had there exhaust system powder coated and how did it hold up?

 

well, you will not be pleased! since most powder formula is a 400*f cure, the pipes will exceed it. i up'd the ponies on my 1974ch and since the 2" drags were junk, installed a set of 1.750 drags that were chrome. story short, chrome crap, painted with VHT black after scuffing the chrome, still rusted.
better to get it professionally coated like jet coat ceramic.

 

I've prepped and painted chrome systems using House of Kolor high heat black. Easy peasy if you have standard automotive refinishing equipment and the skills to use it. Have used VHF rattle cans with good results too.
