Default So I was given a fairing

It's been a long time since I have posted on this site, holy crap.
Anyway. A buddy of mine gave me the fairing he had on his Road Star; a Stealth Fairing from USA Trailer Store. It's in good shape overall but needs some love and he only gave me the shell. I can get the mounts and planned on my own electronics anyway, but my question is about paint (obviously, otherwise I wouldn't have posted in here lol).
I sanded and painted the inner with some Valspar that I had sitting around and hit it with an acrylic lacquer clear. It looks great and will do the trick. The outer I started painting black and will keep it black for now, but I want to eventually color match. It's an '04 RKC in Lava Red (98603 BNZ/BQA is the code from what I found). Is there a less expensive alternative to Color Rite or PPG? I just need a rattle can really.

Some bigger auto body supply stores will mix up paint for spray can use. I'm not sure of the cost. May be the same cost as Colorite.
Find a good local body shop & have them paint it.

I've had D'Angelo's in Oxnard do that for me...however, it's generally not worthwhile for them to make up just one or two cans. Their minimum was six cans. Plus, I'm of the opinion that there isn't a rattle can job in this world that will come close to a standard gun-applied job. But, not everyone has that technology...so Ken, I think you're right on with your advice.
