Default Fork fangs. Satin powder coat black.

So I have a pair of fork fangs. Chrome on the forward side has become pitted with road dust. I then carefully bead blasted the wind facing sides to remove the shine. Matches my satin chrome factory finished pieces. Now I'm thinking about powder coating the front side of the fangs satin black and keeping the back side of these chrome. Powder coater's is this doable? Tape on back side? Remove before oven or after? Thanks.

So answering my own question here. Yes it's doable. Took my fork fangs to the local powder coat guy. He said yep, as long as he peels the masking tape off directly as the pieces come out of the oven. It worked fine. The few areas of baked on adhesive come off fine with some elbow grease and cream type chrome cleaner\polish.
