Default 2016 Carbon Crystal - PPG or Axalta paint code?

Just curious if anyone has a base coat formula number for Carbon Crystal - either PPG or Axalta (DuPont) formula number would be appreciated. The color is black with coarse white pearl or coarse metallic flake that is mostly not visible unless it's in direct sunlight.

98601EBR is the paint code, See if a paint store can cross it to a PPG Deltron or Axalta Chromabase system

Thanks for the code. I actually work for an automotive finish company and have access to both PPG and Axalta codes. The issue I'm running into is that for some reason HD is very protective of CVO colors. Thanks again!

I believe I have solved the mystery on this color. It's called Mystic (# 936719). PPG makes a special Glass Flake effect that's part of their Vibrance Collection called "Crystallance". There's 6 different colors in this collection and these are sprayed as a tri-coat. In this color the black base goes down first then mid coat has VM4501 silver flake in the formula. This is a PPG only color as they are the only manufactuerer that makes this Crystallance effect.

Update - Crystallance "Mystique" is not the color. I'm relatively sure that the VM4501 Silver (sprayed over black) is the effect that is in the Carbon Crystal color, but so far I'm unable to come up with a formula that will work. Time for some spray out cards.

I have a PPG formula number that was determined by the Rapid Match color camera. #938553 "Star Fire Black" was given a match number of 6, which means the color camera is relatively confident this formula will be a good color match. I have not sprayed this out yet, but I do think it will be pretty close. I'll update as I have more info.

I just went through a mess like this
I put stretched saddlebags, side covers and rear fender extension on my 2013 Chrome Yellow Pearl streetglide
do yourself a favor and buy your paint at a Harley Davidson dealership
my bodyshop guy bought paint from 3 different paint companies, none were even a close match
I bought paint from my local dealership for $143.00 a quart and it matched perfect.

I didn’t think Harley will proved the number matches, or even CVO paint other than touch up.

Don't know how true this is or not, I heard some body shops or paint supplies companies can scan your tank, fender etc. and mix the correct color.
