Default First major scratch

While wiping down the fairing today I noticed a large scratch just below the windscreen. No how the h#// did that happen? You would think I I would have noticed if a rock was kicked up and hit it. Easy fix or just leave it? 2018 SGS in Twisted Cherry.

That is a "leave alone " . Just call it a souvenir.

Just leave it for now, enjoy the ride, get if fixed later or whenever. Think of it as a war wound, not something to be ashamed of.

Time to sale...Park it at your front door, pour about 3-4 quarts of 75-90 EP SYN oil on the ground under it. (That smell will gag a maggot) Roll in it a little and throw all your tool under and around in it.

When the wife come home, tell her it blew up and it may need a lot of work for a few months there.
Guarantee she will drive you to the Harley dealer within the week.

Look like some windshield trim would conceal the scratch?

Exactly what I was thinking...I have a chip on mine above the headlight from a rock. It just show's it's a rider an not a garage queen. Once the rest of the bike has enough "character marks" I'm thinking about a color change. Maybe ford sonic blue.

Have a Vodka martini, (not Gin because only gays drink that) and it'll be all gone in the morning.

I got a scratch on my rinehart airbox, I cringed when I saw it. I know it’s not on the fairing but definitely not cool to see.
