Superior Blue paint code
So I just purchased a 2015 Roadglide in Superior Blue that will be picked up next week. PPG paint code is 940145 but is $336 just for the quart of base. I have a chopped tour pack that is painted 2009 Pewter Pearl off my old Streetglide that I want to paint to match the new bike before I pick up the bike so it is ready for mounting. If I had the bike I could have them scan one of the painted surfaces to get the mix right. I only use the tour pack when the wife rides which is only 15% of the time that I ride but "SHE must have it" when she does. Does anyone know the standard paint code that you can give to any supply house and they mix the paint by weight of each tone? It doesn't have to be a perfect match. I have been to 3 supply houses and provided the PPG color code and no one can find the correct code that is referred to as Yasi or Yaso or something like that. I'm assuming it is a standard like Pantone, RGB or CMYK code in Graphic design.
