My black engine is dull...
My bikes engine is the factory black finish but it has a faded dull appearance, anyone have a tip to brighten her back up? It's not chipped or flaking but looks almost a brown color. I've tried painted wheel cleaner on the engine when cold which has removed the deposits but it just wont brighten up. I've heard of sprays but i figure they will just burn back off with engine temp after running, I'm hoping someone has the key...

S100 engine brightener is good stuff. It's not a permanent fix but it doesn't just burn off. You'll need to reapply it after a good wash.

Might want your basic blast off, then just spray it on its a solvent, works great on mags too.

Moto Black. It's a spray but I used it on my train about 6Mo ago, and have not needed to reapply it and it's gone through several washes. No burn off or funny smells either. I think mine was around $8.00 for a can of it.

Hope that's a big can...!
