Denatured alcohol, and microfiber cloth ! Then fresh coat of Mequiars carnuba!

Lime stone is a base, while it is the opposite of an acid it to can etch surfaces. What type of tree was it? Turpintine can remove sap from evergreen trees. Perhaps a call to a car detailing shop in the area where the damage happened could help??? Almost every area has problems specific to their region. Hope this helps.

+1 on WD40--live in Fla--used WD40 MANY times to remove pine sap from car paint--DO IT NOW B4 IT HAS TIME TO HARDEN OR SOFTEN YOUR CLEAR COAT!!

A+ on this one. If it hardens wooden stir stick to scrape and them clay bar.

If you dont remove it within a day or two it will etch into the clear.
