Default how much material painting my bagger

Hello, thinking of repainting my bagger this next winter. It will be full fairing, stretched bags, tanks, fenders. Have only painted cars and it usually takes about 3-5 quarts. Using a gravity feed HVLP Sata gun = to sparying from a spray can pressure.
Thinking maybe 1 or2 quarts of paint and reducers hardeners to match sound about correct?
Thanks!
Drew C.

1 -2 qt is plenty.... 1 will cut it close with a HLVP gun as they tend to over spray a bit... 1qt and a pnt should be good 2 qt to be safe

Also depends on the type of paint you use and it's required mix ratio, some paints will have a 2 to 1 base to reducer ratio, some will have 1 to 1 ratio. You might pay more for a higher quality paint that has a lower mix ratio and end up needing half as much....

Also, a coat of silver or white prior to spraying the final base will reduce the number of coats necessary to achieve the true color.

DrewC: If you're considering HOK products, I'd definitely check into Internet/Mail Order sources.
I priced all mine locally and some products were 50% + higher, with tax to boot. I try to always support the local businesses, but when the opportunity arises to save hundreds of dollars, the decision is easy.
Check into TCP Global. Total shipping (from CA. to FL.) was only $30.00 for 7 quarts of paint (clears, sealer, primer and assorted basecoat colors), plus one gallon of reducer. They have very attractive shipping rates for orders over $150.00
