I have a 2007 road king that was factory custom painted in dark green envy pearl and light green envy pearl I can not find this paint any where and I called Harley and after I gave them my vin number and at least 1 call to them every day for 2 weeks I am still no further ahead in my search I know they guard their paint codes which is fine if I could order the paint which they said I had to order through a dealer which is ok too . but they cant or wont give me an order number to go to my dealer with has any one had this problem more importantly does any one have a solution thanks

 

pull your side cover off take it to an auto paint shop they can put it in the overhead and have a computer generated match made

 

I have done that at both an auto paint shop and a auto paint supply place its a tri paint and the comp cant read it theres a base coat a pearl and then the clear but thanks for the thought

 

Light Green Envy basecoat is p/n 34H037
Color-shifting topcoat is Dragonfly Green Pearl p/n 30H028. These are touch-up bottles; not known if a quart would have a different number.

My problem is, I can't find the basecoat for the Dark Green Sunglo. H-D is telling me to use Vivid black as the base with the Dragonfly topcoat, but that gives me 2008 color Black Glow. Still hunting this one down.

Maybe try going to a custom paint shop instead...if they're good they can probably color match it pretty well

 

any one looking for hard to find paints try vmr paints in troy IL they stock tri coat paints ie dark green envy pearl dragon fly green these are cvo colors talk to rick their number is 855 485 7500

 

Wow, a four year search. Thanks for the link. I occasionally have tough to find colors. Latest was 2010 Black Ice, PPG lab was able to make some.

 

PPG makes most of the HD colors. Try your local PPG jobber.

 

now into my search 6 plus years still no further ahead
