I don't know man. If I had a wife for 23 years, and she had an affair and split, I'd be at the strip joint, dollar bills in my teeth, slugging down beers,smoking fatties, riding my scoot till the wheels fell off, and going to the range to put my glock through it's paces. And yes, I'd be praising Jesus the whole time. But that's just me.
Might be why I never had a real relationship. But heck, all my girlfriends did that to me at one time or another. Some even got money for it. Butthe only thing I ever felt when I saw the chicks leave was the breeze of the door as I slammed it on 'em. And then, I breathed a sigh of relief.
If you do get divorced, hopefully your state isn't a no fault state. So you get the house and get tokeep your scooter.
