I am pretty new to the forum and am just seeing this thread. I agree with jjones434 that it is nice to see a public forum that allows/acknowledges/sponsors a thread that contains openly Christian content. Sorry, this isn't a prayer request.

Dear Brothers and sister,
Please pray for me. I am having a hard time at work with one boss who is trying to have me transferred out of my department. I only have 1 year to go till I retire and I don't know why she is coming after me. This is starting to effect my home life and I am starting to drink a little more than usual. I am a good person and try to help people when I can but I can actually fell myself falling apart.
Sincerely, Dan

Dan,
I am not a perfect Christian by any means, but I have found great encouragement and strength when I go through trials in James 1:2-12. If you read this you may find this instruction/exhortation easier said than done. I assure you it is a difficult thing to follow for everyone. The most encouraging thing for me is verse 12. I cling to this verse with all my strength during hard times and it never fails to help me as long as I keep it in the forefront of my mind through those hard times. I will pray that you are able to get relief from your trial and come out on the other side a stronger Christian.
Love in Christ,
John

New to the Forum and very glad to see others who know where to turn when we need true help! I am glad to pray for all those that need it, even those who don't ask, who are the majority! I hope we all will pray for everyone and ask god to give his helping hand if even for those who don't realize,,,,,, we all need it!
May God Bless us all, as only he can!
