Default Rattle in IDS

I have a 07 Ultra Classic. I have a rattle that is most prevalent at very light throttle. It is in upper gears. Loudest probably in 5th gear. People next to me riding can hear it. It has always been noisy with 42,000 miles.

Are you saying your IDS is making the noise? Have you checked the rubber isolators for the proper spec? Read service bulletin M1256 to see how to measure for wear.

I'm not sure what the noise/rattle is. After reading I guess I don't have IDS on a stock 07

If you're not the original owner, you may have one. Stock on 08 but retrofitted as a kit for 07.
