any body know if a newer twin cam motor & tranny, rubber mount will fit into a 96 evo rubber mount frame

ever since I took a friends twin cam with fuel injection & 6 speed.I have been wanting to do a swap, so any year that has those changes, even if it takes a few modifications

It's more then a few mods that transmission case bolts to the swing arm and the distance from the motor mounts to the swing arm is different from EVO to late TC.

The short answer is no! If you have great customising skills you may be able to make it work, but it ain't no bolt-in. Of course you can also install an aftermarket 6-speed in an Evo or early twincam - I'm sure Mark can help ya there!

I figured the front mount would need some mod's,& add a mount for the top stabilizer, I was worried about clearance on the main frame above the head's. I realize I would need all the electric's as well. I considered a 6 speed tranny kit, but I really like the twin cam & fuel injection
