At 60mph in 6 gear, I get a clanking sound as I roll off or roll on the throttle. This happens in the low rpm range of any gear. 2x to the dealer to fix different things but both times they say its normal. If that's the case, why did the "fix something". the dealer wants me to believe this is normal, but clanking when I roll off the throttle? BTW, 2014 Road King 1000 miles.

 

JMO, but 60 mph in 6th gear seems like "lugging". I don't go into 6th until at least 70mph. Try some different speed/gear scenarios and see how things feel....

 

Is it just one klank? Or a continually clanking noise for a short duration? One klank usually is compensator slap, and they are right, "they all do that". It will klank on and off the throttle.
