Default Oil Leak--HELP!!!

Developed an oil leak about dime to quarter size after riding-wont leak on 15-20 min. idle-not engine oil-can NOT find the leak-have heard possibly leak from seal and/or sleeve from shifter linkage going into trans.- what I can see with a light from under and over-it DOES look like it could be a little something around the linkage going into the trans.-what's the best way to get to this? Do I HAVE to remove the entire outer case to get to it? All I've done is look and try to figure out how to get to it so far.---Thanks alot

Your description is making it very hard to tell anything. If it's leaking from the outer then you just need to replace the gasket no big deal. If it coming from behind the inner primary then everything has to come apart.
Try to get a pic

If you are saying that the leak occurs after a ride, leaves a spot about a quarter size and then stops after 15-20 minutes; that's classic symptom of inner primary bearing seal leaking.
