Default Shifter Shaft Seal Removal - Help Needed

Can anyone recommend a way to get this little bugger out?

drill small hole put screw in it pull it out. it's shallow don't drill to far. it comes out easy

Okay... I tried drilling the hole and pulling it that way. Absolutely will not budge. Any other suggestions?

Problem solved!!!!!
Just needed to thread the screws in far enough to push the seal out.

Yup....
New seal, new shifter lever, learned how to remove and re-install inner and outter primary. Also picked up a few more tools to make future jobs easier....
Only set back was a ding in the side of my tank from a breaker bar slipping off the compensator nut. Chock it up to lesson learned.

Did the seal leak? I just noticed I have a leak somewhere down by the primary area
