Default jerky take off?

hey guys,
long time no see. my 2004 heritage has started shaking/jerking real bad when I take off from or stop or I try to drive slow through a parking lot.
It does not jerk when I have the clutch lever pulled all the way in or have it let all the way out. taking off in first or second gear gets me the same results and at high speeds I do not feel anything. it started 3 days ago and was barely noticeable and has gotten bad enough that Im not comfortable riding it for fear of serious damage to it. it is bad enough now that the wife was in a car behind me and could see my head whip back and forth.
I suspect it is something to do with the clutch or transmission any of you guys ever experience this?
my manual is at my cousins house and im running to get that while I wait to see what you guys know.

Sounds more like your compensator, get the manual and diagnose it. I have a belt drive and get the same effect because it has no compensator (Direct drive)
