Default Clutch Pack Assembly

I am tearing the primary down to check for a bad inner primary bearing. I have removed the bolt on the compensator, and the nut holding the clutch pack in place. The compensator assembly slides right out, but the clutch pack doesn't budge! Any body have any ideas on how to get the clutch pack assembly out?

Thank's.

OK so you got the starter gear and chain adjusters out of the way? Then the hub is just stuck on the splined shaft. Rubber mallet and a little prying or if you haven't had if off before a gear puller. (Advance and Auto Zone loan that stuff out for free.)

They're torqued down at 80 ft/lbs (at least on mine,) and I've had it off enough that mine practically falls off when I go to remove it nowadays.

I have not removed the clutch pack before on my bike. I will try a little prying and tapping with a rubber hammer and see if I an get it to free up. If not I will find a gear puller to remove it.

Hey hey! Good to hear. On that left hand thread, upon reinstall use a torque wrench to spec and it'll come off easier next time too.
