Default 139 tooth Drive belt

Is there a decent 139 tooth belt out there .??
Im on my 4th belt in 7500 miles and wondering weather I need to change the gearing back to standard so I can get a belt that will last
I have broken 2 BDL Falcon belts (these are just crap ) and I have just broken a BDL PC-139-1 which I was told was a gates belt sold by BDL this one broke after only about 50 miles.
my bike is only putting out 113 FT LB so its not that powerfull
Help please ?

Simply buy an H-D belt, not aftermarket. What width is yours? If 1 1/2" Harley used to make a sidecar belt, which is stronger, although I don't know if it is still available. If it's 1 1/8" wide they make a stronger belt for the trikes.

I would suspect a 1" belt setup? what brand or manufacturer rear pulley are you using?

Gates makes the HD belts.

Check your belt alignment and the pulleys themselves.

Sorry I should have told the whole story
I had a 30 tooth front fitted by baker D T in Sturgis in 2013 . they used a BDL Falcon belt which lasted only 4000 miles . At the time the only 139 tooth belt available where I was in North cal was another Falcon so on it went to let me finnish my tour of the states.
Baker then did the right thing and orginised for a Gates belt to replace the one that broke and the also sent me a full gasket kit as well (free of charge).
By this time the bike was in storage in LA waiting to be shipped out here to Australia .
It arrived here earlier this year and I have riden 3500 Ks on that belt when it broke the same as the first one.I fitted the Gates belt and it lasted only 100 km and broke as well .
This one looks like a manufacturing fault of maybe the fact that its been sitting in a container for 12 months did something to it .Im not sure but I don't want to replace it again and have the same problem.,
The bike is a 20012 FLHTC with 557 S&S cams and not much else done to it .
Its no monster with 113 FT IL and 92 HP.
Im grateful for the service from Baker and would still recommend the 30 tooth conversion as I still think its the best value for money upgrade for the Baggers but Im not sure which way to go with this belt problem.

Belts don't break that easily IMHO. I have a 107" with similar numbers and haven't replaced the belt since installing the engine several years ago (when I renewed the entire drive train). The conventional wisdom is that incorrect belt tension causes most breakages, unless there is something else at fault, such as a damaged rear pulley?

Yeah, it's definitely not the belts fault. Something else is going on to go through that many belts in such a short amount of time with that amount of hp/tq. Better check the belts deflection and both the drive pulleys for damage.

agreed…… For yours to break that often, something is wrong. The only other thing I can think of that has not been mentioned is shock load. If you like to dump the clutch roast the rear tire you belt will fail sooner or later.
