Baker Comp Question

do you typically have to install shims between the rotor and the baker comp? I have a new take off rotor that i bought off ebay and a new baker comp but neither of them came with shims for between the rotor and comp. Do you typically have to have them for this setup?

Not typical from what I have read/heard. About to find out for myself in about 4 days.
