I recently went to 14' ape hangers on my soft tail deuce. I replaced all the cables but having problem with it not wanting to move when driving it. The throttle opens up, but it doesn't seem to be transferring to the bike, it will barley move and you have to easily move the throttle for it to gain any kind of speed.

 

Sounds like the clutch needs adjusting.

Thanks, I will do that. I thought that maybe the problem but wanted to get advice before I started trying to adjust the cables.
