1200T bent shifter shaft
I have a 2014 1200T that I have had 8 months. I adjusted shift pedal and found bent shifter shaft about 1/4 inch off line coming out of the tranny. It is still under warranty and the dealer says No Problem. We should be able to fix it. I would appreciate anyone giving me their input. Does the engine need to be pulled to work on the tranny? I ask because the dealer left me thinking it did not, but my 2014 Sporty manual seems to indicate the engine does need to be pulled to replace the shifter shaft assembly. The tranny shifts good with the bent shaft, but someday I may want to move up to another bike and the bend could effect the sale. I am a guy that comes from the "If it is not broken, don't fix it. "
Appreciate any thoughts on the issue of the need to pull the engine.

Welcome to HDF from the UK. Take it to the dealer and let them fix it, there's a good chap. Stop agonising and get it fixed, then you will have nothing to worry about and can sleep easy! Warranties are for exactly this sort of thing. Doesn't matter if the engine needs to come out, if the dealer is going to fix it under warranty - your bike won't be the worst one they've fixed.
