Have a 05 fxst can the new model primary cover fit on it. No need for me to have inspection cover

Nobody has tried this? It seems like they might work and would give more clearance on left side which would be nice with lowered softail. i know that late model evo primaries fit but most evo and earlier Tc always mared up under derby cover on softails. I've searched everywhere for an answer the last day with no luck. I heard it can't but not from somebody who has done it. Thanks again.

 

Just looked at both and it's a different bolt pattern.

The inspection cover enables us to ckeck chain tension. What have you done to never need to do that?!
