I live in Cheshire England, just done 3000 miles plus tour too and around Portugal, the 3 rushmore in our group all developed the same problem, thay lost gear selection- on the other side of the heel-toe leaver link bar the link arm came loose, we tightened them up but after a few 100 miles came loose again and again ...the splines are worn and the leavers rock on the shaft. When we got back we found this had happened on 6 other rushmores in our club in an other group that had done a run to Scotland , our dealership is looking in to this too see if it is a new warranty issue or possible recall.
