Had to replace main drive gear on my 2000 FXDWG. The primary gasket kit included 2 black fabric bolt hole gaskets. Anyone know where they go? Lots of bolt holes in there. Thanks.

Thanks for the diagram, I didn't have it. Given the location of #26 on the diagram, inside the cover, I'm guessing the gasket sits on the post to which the inspection cover bolts attach. Makes sense, those holes may be submerged at times. Appreciate it!

Yes it's part 26 in the diagram. They're fiber/metal spacers. You need to install them, but make sure you remove the old ones first. You'll see that they're sticky on one side (the spacers). The sticky side goes on threaded posts in the inner primary.
