Default Baker Compensator 630-67

Replacing stock compensator on 07 Road King with Baker compensator. Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this. Any problems with chain alignment?
Also have transmission oil leak where clutch adjuster rod comes out of clutch shaft. Don't really understand what that's about.

Chain alignment is all over the map on these 07 and later bikes. You'll know more when you take the measurements.

Are you saying transmission fluid is leaking into the primary? I would check the vent on the transmission top cover.

Doesn't your clutch adjuster screw have an o-ring on it? Take it out and check and replace. I believe it should..

No o-ring on the late models.

WOW that sucks, I guess.... So what do they do to prevent oil traveling down the clutch shaft to the adjuster?

It can travel, not sure where it's going to go.

First off the fluid level (when properly filled) is below the mainshaft. 4 speeds and early 5 speeds up to 86 shared more fluid with the side cover then 87 and later bikes.

Then there is not a lot of room between the clutch push rod and the inner wall of the mainshaft.

So for the fluid to make it's way down the mainshaft there would need to be pressure to help it.

If there is pressure than the vent in the transmission top cover is plugged or the transmission is overfilled.

You will get some shared fluid between changes but not enough to notice one way or the other.
