Default Adjusted clutch and still will not disengage

I have replaced my fritcion plates and 2 and third gear in my transmission. I replaced the clutch cable. I still can't get the clutch to disengage, when I turn the adjustment nut all the way tight the clutch will work but bike barly goes when you release the clutch. Engine revs up bike moves a little. I drove it trying to see if clutch plates were sticking but nothing. I keep trying to adjust it but it just will not work. Any suggestions besides adjust the cable I have read and adjusted for 1 week. I have broke it down 7 times and put the clutch back together. 1988 sportster 1200 4 speed

Pull the pushrod and make sure it's not bent.
